I have been creating decorative items for the yard and home for over 20 years as gifts to friends, family, charities and corporations.  They have been the ones to convince me to make them available to a wider audience. All bird houses featured are Audubon approved materials and construction methods.  I use only water-based paints, stains and polyurethane.  The houses are constructed of pine, cedar, and recycled building materials.  This not only guarantees healthy environments for the birds, but also allows me to take what normally would end up in a landfill and reclaim it as an art object.
